On-the-fly compilationImage: On-the-fly compilation
SimpLESS recognizes when you save your *.less file and immediately compiles your CSS-Code.

It’s like wizardry: Prefixes allow you to easily achieve cross-browser compatibility, thanks to prefixr.com.

Works with Twitter BootstrapImage: Displays syntax errors
Bootstrap maybe is Twitter’s biggest gift for developers. We love it. And SimpLESS does so too. Try it yourself.
Why we created SimpLESS
We want a CSS that can keep up with our brains and which doesn’t feel like assembly-line work. Yes, CSS really got better over time but working with it just feels like back in 1998. We don’t want to type the same statements again and again …
We use LESS to achieve more. LESS is a dynamic stylesheet language which extends CSS with dynamic behavior such as variables, mixins, operations and functions. If you want to learn more about LESS, visit www.lesscss.org.
Challenge: Closing the gap
The most powerful thing SimpLESS does: Save your *.less file and, BOOOM, SimpLESS generates a 100% valid standard CSS document out of it. No further steps, it’s that simple.
Our personal challenge
We want to get better every day and more importantly want to improve the world around us.
Sounds a bit naive? — maybe it is!
Let’s make it better together
More about LESS and how it works
LESS extends CSS with dynamic behavior such as variables, mixins, operations and functions.
As an extension to CSS, LESS is not only backwards compatible with CSS, but the extra features it adds use existing CSS syntax. This makes learning LESS a breeze, and if in doubt, lets you fall back to CSS.
Visit www.lesscss.org to read more about LESS.
As easy as it looks like. Try it yourself and you’ll save a lot of time - it’s lightning fast!
